WE ARE VANA'DIEL Website Updated! (25/11/2024)
The WE ARE VANA'DIEL website has been updated with the second half of the Sound Composer Interview featuring Nobuo Uematsu, Kumi Tanioka, and Naoshi Mizuta.
In the second half of this special two-part interview, we talk about creating the arrangement for "Distant Worlds," which was the first song in FFXI to feature vocals. We'll also cover some of the difficulties faced when composing the song that played during the Shadow Lord battle, "Awakening," and much, much more. They've also included a special message for all of you adventurers out there, so be sure to give it a read!

The WE ARE VANA'DIEL website has been updated with a new interview featuring some of the sound composers from FFXI.
In Part 1 of this two-part interview, Nobuo Uematsu, Kumi Tanioka, and Naoshi Mizuta share their thoughts regarding video game music, as well as various anecdotes about the songs they composed during the initial stages of FFXI's development. They also discuss their efforts creating a unique arrangement of the famous Final Fantasy song "Prelude" for the game.
